Presidential Debate: LIVE FEED
By Politics • Sep 26th, 2008 • Category: PoliticsHo boy. Another rockin’ evening over here at meZine. Tonight is a perfect example of why the world needs a Liveboard. I will be watching the debate with one eye on the score of the Red Sox/Skankees game, while some of you suckers are stuck having to channel surf. Channel surfing is a pain in the ass.
Anyway, the two standoffs will make for a very intense night. I hope I don’t cry.
For those of you who want some info about the debate, this is from CSPAN:
Jim Lehrer of the PBS NewsHour will moderate this presidential debate on foreign policy. It will take place at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. The Commission on Presidential Debates hosts the event.
I imagine the focus of the debate will change to the financial crisis due to the recent goings on of the country. MeZine’s live feed will start at 9:15 PM EST and will appear below this thread.
Politics. Left, Right, and Center, and everything in between. We're not a political magazine, but sometimes it's hard to resist joining in on the fun.

welp, I didn’t cry. But man did the Red Sox get destroyed tonight.
I don’t know what is going on with the debates because I don’t have cable. Also, according to Dr. Phil’s personality test on Facebook, I am Vain and Self Centered. But, my defining 80’s movie is Valley Girl!
I cannot imagine high school/college with Facebook and cellphones and YouTube. My political career would have been over before it even started. Golly.
Also, Edie just asked me to put in “The Darjeeling Limited”. She told me I need to “share my movies”.
Oh, please. I didn’t even have internet access during college or high school. In HS we had a vague sense of email, but only to those in our Basic ll class. If I had internet in High School or College, I can assure you my first job out of college would NOT have been in the mall.
Also, my apologies for no mezine updates. We’re, um, on vacation. Maybe I’ll just throw up an open blog for now.
